How to set up a reseller account:

A reseller account allows you to create hosting accounts in an easy and friendly way. It is an ideal solution for people who create websites and web applications that need to provide hosting to their clients.

This guide shows you how to become a reseller.

1. If we don’t have a hosting account at Smarthost.pl, we set up a new one. The package doesn’t matter, because as a reseller we will be able to change the parameters of your hosting accounts yourself. For example, it can be a ssd-mini plan.

2. After creating an account, choose the reseller package that interests you and click "Order" on the page:

3. We fill in the exchange form for a reseller account:
   
   
   
   
4. After sending the form, our Administrators will give the account the reseller's credentials.
   
   The change will be confirmed by an e-mail with information on how to log in to the WHM panel.
   
   
5. We log in to the WHM panel. Now we have the authorities over hosting accounts that we can create from now on.
   
   

Each hosting account created by the reseller has its own management panel cPanel and is separated from other hosting accounts. Thanks to this, your client can manage files of his website, his databases and e-mail account, however, he can’t get to the data of other clients.

Reseller accounts are full hosting accounts on our server, they are subject to standard procedures such as:

• regular backups
• care for updating the server software
• possibility of usage preview (processor, memory) on each hosting account
• scanning antivirus an incoming mail
