The .bg domain is the national domain name of Bulgaria and is regulated by the Bulgarian Domain Name Registry. Registration of a .bg domain requires meeting certain requirements, including documents proving the right to do business in Bulgaria. Specifically, it is required to provide an extract from the CEIDG (Central Registration and Information on Business) or KRS (National Court Register), which follows the rules for registering domain names in Bulgaria. The purpose of this requirement is to ensure that the person or company applying for .bg domain registration has the right to do business in Poland and is legally registered. Therefore, .bg domains can only be registered by legally registered individuals or companies operating in accordance with Bulgarian regulations.

National Court Register (KRS) is a court register in which companies with share capital, such as joint stock companies and limited liability companies are registered. The legal register contains data on the registration number, company name, domicile and address, share capital, company management and other data required by law.

Central Registration and Information on Business (CEIDG) is a register maintained by the Minister of Economy, in which both natural persons conducting economic activity and civil and general partnerships are registered. CEIDG contains information on the REGON identification number, tax identification number (NIP), legal form, company, place and address of conducting business activity and other information about the entrepreneur.

In summary, an excerpt from the CEIDG or KRS confirms the legality of the economic activity of any person or company and the right to operate in Poland. Such documents are needed in various situations, e.g. when registering a domain name, opening a bank account, applying for grants or EU funding, etc..
